Winter Solstice Silent Practice:

with Kathie Jaskolski

Wednesday, December 21st 6-7:30pm

Winter Solstice comes at the dead of winter and when the days are the shortest.  Nature asks us to slow down and enjoy a cup of warm tea, to be with loved ones, to listen rather than speak.  Seeds rest in suspended animation and the animals hibernate.

In contrast, the expectations of this season have us rushing to the malls, stressing ourselves with activity when we really yearn to rest, dream and gather strength in our bodies for the coming season of renewal.  Our culture often sees taking time to rest and dream as a sign of laziness.

Instead of stepping into the chaos…. I invite you to slow down and move inward with me at the Winter Solstice Silent Practice.

Once you register, you’ll receive suggested ideas (via email from kathie@kathiejaskolski.com) to prepare your practice space and your body so you get the most out of the ceremony.

There are two opportunities to attend:

IN STUDIO at Caya Yoga Community

LIVE Virtual via ZOOM

*Unable to attend on the 21st?  Register for the ZOOM class and you will receive a recording link that is accessible through Tuesday, December 28th.
